An e mail today states that I now have a final 24 hours to confirm/update my details to Microsoft or my account will be de activated. There is a blue link to click on to go to Microsoft but I am wary of clicking on it!!!
Has anyone else done this or is it yet one more scam for the unwary.? It did not go straight to my spam box so maybe it is genuine. What's the worst that can happen if I don't update the account?
I don't think I can add attachments on here even though I have posted more than 100 posts.
Thanks for any help.

All these "please verify your account type " emails from anywhere on any subject whether they are APPEARING to be from banks, paypal, ebay, commercial companies, microsoft, HMG, apple and the rest are all scams sent by someone impersonating the organization.
Any such link in these emails to a webpage will certainly not go back to the organisation's genuine site but will go to some lookalike site created by the scammer for the sole purpose of harvesting your login or credit card details0 -
Thanks to you both, that's exactly as I thought but you do just wonder.
As if we haven't all got enough hassle going on in life without these stupid scammers, why don't they go get a life for goodness sake.
Thanks again0
