    Hi everyone,

redruby, I fell in love with Venice too, although we only had a day there. We are going back next year though after DS gets married in Italy. I have told DH I must have a gondola ride this time, even though they are very expensive!

The tree is up and decorated but I have left some baubles in the box this year, I have far too many! I might offer some to DD when she comes.
  • Morning all,

Feel so sorry for the families affected by the floods. I bet there isn't mass appeals for monetary donations in foreign countries like we get asked whenever there is a disaster!

Have sorted out the christmas tree problem. DH has made a tall stand and using bits of the old tree we have stood it in the gap behind the corner sofa. I will decorate it later.
I have ordered a couple more christmas presents but still need to go to the shops to buy more bits and pieces. I did intend to got this morning but DH got rained off work hence sorting the tree out.

    Have a good day all.

I made the mistake of watching a late night horror film and then thought it would scupper sleep. Funnily enough I slept till nearly 9 when there was a knock at the door with two large boxes to take in for a dd.

Going into York later to take eldest for lunch (slimmng) and shopping trip for her presents which I will then take home and wrap.

Brought dry laundry from the overhead pulley and had a nice long shower and shampoo, looked out perfume and nice outfit.

No idea what to eat tonight but there is some fish in the freezer.
Weigh in is not till Thursday night as DD is away and can't drive me.

    RedRuby

    Venice sounds magical!!:j

    Hugs to all

    Afternoon all,

Theres a very sick baby in the Baby House. He came to the girls a few days ago unloved, unwanted and failing to thrive.

The girls are collecting donations of breast milk for the little mite.

    This is Joshua.

  • Afternoon (((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Short and sweet today, not feeling so good. The nurse gave me a shingles vaccination last week, my arm has swelled up, very sore and itchy, have also been quite light headed, although that seems to be going as long as I do not get up too quickly.

Back in the real world soon.

Good grief Judi. - poor little poppet, will light a candle for him tonight x
  • Judi, that poor boy, doesn't it make you want to weep. Born into this world where no one wants you and no one cares. Your dear daughter, if anyone can, will help him to thrive and when he is well find a home for him.

I hope all the patients have recovered from the mumps now.

Lainey was your Bill OK with his injections today?

Candlelight - Bill was an absolute angel, marched on and off the lorry like he travels every day, was a bit wobbly just after the injections as he had had a sedative but that wore off pretty quickly and he was soon tucked back up in his stable munching away on his hay-net.
The vet said we could go straight back into ridden walk work tomorrow as the more he moves the better he will be and he will then be assessed after a month to see if we can step that up, could have kissed the bloke tbh as have so missed riding my boy :j

    Best Yule present ever xx
