I suspect that many will be using third party start menus but I'm persisting (at least for now) with the default one.

I've added some folders with names commencing # into the start menu area containing shortcuts to my regularly used stuff so these all appear at the top of All Apps.

For me the actual start menu lives in

    "C:\Users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs"

I never actually see the start screen so don't really care what it may look like.

There isn't a start screen in Windows 10 unless you have it in Tablet mode, which would be pointless on a desktop.

    Semantics but http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/start-screen-tutorial

But of course that's a hangover from W8 and Metro

Why are people still trying to work with Windows 10. I never knew there were so many masochists in the world. :rotfl:

Never had a problem with it. Easy to use and fast, I've not found anything I can't do on it yet that I need to.
I gave up 'trying' to use it ten minutes after getting it and started to actually use it.
Nice fast and easy to get around, once you give a little time to getting used to doing some things a bit differently.
That said, W7 is still there for you to stay behind on, so everyone should be happy....:T;)
