Had a look on ING's website today and see that they have launched a new product called the ING Guaranteed Investment Account, they even guarantee your initial investment back. More info:
"The Guaranteed Investment Account, Issue 1 is a 3 year account with FTSE 100 growth potential and a simple risk-free money back guarantee, whatever happens.
This gives your savings the potential for growth based on the performance of the UK's top 100 listed companies.
A simple risk-free guarantee to get all your original deposit back, if the FTSE 100 doesn't grow or falls over the 3 year period."
