British Gas have changed our account to an 'Energy Account' - anyone else?

Hi all,

I have been with British Gas for about a year in my new house, and have had a separate gas and electric account on my online account, which I would pay separately. Then I noticed at the end of November that the accounts had merged, and I got a sole bill to pay online.

Fast forward to today and I have received a "Final Gas Bill" asking for 39.15 off an estimated reading taken on 2nd September for my Gas use between 2 September - 26 October.

Obviously I checked my online account and there is no where on the account that this bill shows up, thus no way to pay it. I also noticed that the customer number is one digit different to my new Energy Account.

Anyone else has issues like this? Or had their accounts changed to an all in one Energy account?

    Yes mine is saying energy account, but my online account has been totaly screwed up since the collective switch
