Travel Insurance

We've booked a holiday and paid a deposit and don't pay the balance for 3 months. As we have pre-existing medical conditions the travel insurance is 4 times the cost of the deposit. It surely must be best to wait till we pay the balance of the holiday before we purchase the insurance. Any thoughts please.

Its always best to buy your travel insurance at the same time as booking.
Accidents, death, redundancy etc have a way of getting in the way in the interim.
You would be covered if any of them happened after booking you would be covered.
By the way, I never bother now with insurance if we are stying in the UK, only if we are going abroad which is not often these days.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I agree with you, if you are not contractually commited to pay the balance if anything happens within the 3 months then hold fire on the insurance.0
