Nectar Points

Just looked at the Nectar page on ebay and it says "The link between your Nectar account and eBay is no longer valid. Please set up your account again to spend your Nectar points on eBay."

I can still collect points it seems, but the option to spend has been removed. I haven't had any email informing me about it and it was fine the other day.

It doesn't give any reason. Anyone know why this is?

Thanks.

  • No idea why but I've just looked at that page and I get the same message so it isn't just you.

Thanks, glad it's not just me lol.

Not sure if the page has changed a little so maybe it's just an update that requires users to set up that again?

I was a bit worried when I first read that message though as I thought the whole thing had been removed and something was wrong.

I've got the same thing on my British Gas account, so it must be a Nectar problem.
  • Yes, me as well. I thought I'd spend my Nectar points on something advertised on eBay, and got this message.
  • However all is not lost.
You can sign in to Nectar using your existing email and password, and it emails you a number which you type into a box on the sign in page. And hey presto! There you are, back into your Nectar account with all your points ready to be spent as normal.
  • This thread is months old. I'd completely forgotten I even posted this...

I don't remember getting a number emailed to me and can't see any email about that. I just clicked to get started, probably entered either the Nectar card number and/or email and password and that was it. Nothing on the ebay page about Nectar that says they'll email you anything either.

From what I can see I don't have even one email to say anything happened at all. No email about the removal, nothing to say I added it again, nothing sent so I could add it again.
