We have a Hoover Vortex and we love it but be warned it is most suitable for lightweight cleaning and hard surfaces. Not so good for carpets.

  • I have a Bosch Athlet and it's brilliant. I never vacuumed the whole house at a time. I'm a room or two at a time person and it's brilliant for that. On high setting (which I use most of the time) it lasts about 20 minutes which is plenty enough vacuuming for me for one day! I bought mine from JL on special at christmas about £170 I think. So great not to have to be restricted by a lead anymore.
