Help to Buy - Transferring savings

My son has savings of £7,000 in a low interest savings account. Wants to use £1,200 to open a Help to Buy ISA and then transfer £200 monthly into the ISA. Where's best place to put his money in the meantime that will allow him to set up the £200 a month transfer?

Interest paying current accounts, and/or regular savings accounts

For simplicity he could open a couple of Tesco current accounts and gradually empty them.0
