Item from China will it arrive?

I have mentioned previously that the very small number of items that do not arrive always seem to be the ones with tracking info included. But usually not a geuine tracking number that works. Either codes that do not relate to any genuine tracking company codes or a real tracking code that jut says delivered to the UK where the tracking then ends with no clue as to the delivery address.

Do they use it as a deterrant to buyers claiming INR? Buyers thinking they have tracking proof and not bothering to claim?

Just checking my bought items to see whats still due and which items to leave feedback on and noticed some cables that i ordered well over 30 days ago. Under £3 and with tracking which is just an 8 digit number.

They marked it as posted but 2 weeks after i bought them.

Will the package arrive?

If they genuinely posted them that late, then you wouldn't expect them to be here yet.

Does the seller offer any guarantee on arrival date?

I much prefer AliExpress to eBay for Chinese imports, as they have proper escrow, even for low value orders.

I bought stuff on the 26th and one arrived today, it is a bit of pot luck and i tend not to buy stuff if i have a deadline. I have had stuff arrive on the 7th day after buying.

Generally its 2 weeks ish.. with some taking upto 30 days.

Its just the ones that put tracking info that doesnt relate to anything, these are the ones that i tend to have issues with.

Quite rare though for the amount that i do buy. out of the last 60 items bought only 3 are from the UK.

Never yet not had something arrive from China it can take tie though depending on how it is sent. The last time they sent me a photo of the package with the tracking number and address visible.

Would not track on the site they gave me but put it into the site of the courier in the UK and it tracked fine.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

    Tracking shows as 11674381228
    Courier Other.

Only had a couple of items not arrive, although one turned up after several months.
A seller sent me the wrong cables, i needed female/female connectors and they sent me M/F. He accused me of trying to scam him. I sent pictures of the wrong cables and he said he will refund and get back to me regarding teh correct cables which are unusual. No reply for a few weeks so i bought them elsewhere.

Generally though almost everything arrives as listed. A few issues with buying larger quantities though. I bought some LED strips not realising they would be in clusters and needed parting. But they were cheap at less than a £ per strip.

I bought quite a few things from Ali express on the sale day 11.11 and Only half have arrived so far.

One arrived with most of it missing and seller refused to refund so I opened a case and it was closed in my favour with 'refund made' 5 days ago- but no refund has been received. Of the others I have several tracking numbers some which appear to be sham ones but a couple are Malaysian post and show as having arrived in the UK on the 22 nd November (all of them!) but nothing since.

Another package today bought on the 26th, this one i was not expecting.

Way too cheap, I just looked and they have almost tripled the price now which is more inline with other sellers.

This item sells for £24.99 in maplins and i paid a fraction of that, wish i had ordered more of them now. I was so convinced they were too cheap i even bought another one which has not arrived yet. doh...

How do you get on with refunds on Ali express? I feel more

29 days from buying them and they arrived today. No tracking and the number they gave does not match anything on the package.

Using it as a deterrent from buyers claiming INR?

Another issue now, I bought 5 items for £7.20 (China, where else).

One of them is faulty, seller has offered $0.90 refund (about 60p)? Saying they are out of pocket and a bit of begging to let them sort it and not to leave negative feedback.

    Should be £1.44 each $2.19.

I bought 5 items at that price inc postage so no discount on the postage for additional items. Is it fair to ask for my £1.44 or $2.19 or is that petty?

Often buy from Chinese suppliers from either eBay or Amazon market place. Never had a problem just have to wait up to four weeks.

We have recently bought loads from China, both on Ebay and AliExpress.

All bar 1 (or possibly 2) items arrived surprisingly quickly ( a week to 10 days). Some had tracking but this seems to relate to the Chinese post only so, once it's on the boat or plane, the information is useless.

With the not received item they sent another straight away (which was received) and refunded 10% of the price.

The second (possible) non-delivery is a much longer story that I won't go into here, however the item was only 0.99p, including postage, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
