Item sent to wrong address, dispute settled in sellers favour?!

I'd be grateful of any help here.
I bought a phone from a seller on ebay who sent it to the wrong address in my street (and has admitted doing so in emails sent via ebay). The recipient sent it back to the sender and the sender promised he'd resend to me. This has never materialised so I opened a case.
The item is showing as "delivered" in my purchase history and has a tracking number on it. Looking up the details on Royal Mail confirms it was delivered and signed for by someone in my street, but doesn't detail the address/ postcodet etc.
Ebay came back today to say they'd settled in the sellers favour, because they'd had evidence that the parcel has been delivered(!)
I wanted to appeal (obviously) but the items is listed under "Returns and Cancelled orders" in my purchase history and there is no option to appeal, or send any further message whatsover! Using "contact us" to try and get an email address or anywhere to give them the whole story results in a never ending loop of despair - any thoughts on the best way to proceed?
Thanks

You need to ring to lodge your appeal. Ask them to review the messages where the seller admits the wrong house number.0
