car price guide question for DRO please

sorry for all the questions.. i have a 10 year old car.. on parkers guide it says for private sale it would be worth £720 but on auto trader for private sale it says £1340? what would the insolvency service use as i dont want to lose my car, i need it for work

    Parkers or glass guide would be the figures to go with, they are official valuation organisations, auto trader is not.


    I believe for a DRO they would look at px value rather than private or dealer prices as if they repo'd it the px value is the most it would be worth,

    If the car was worth more than £1000 (which it isnt by parker's valuation) it wouldnt be taken in a DRO, rather the DRO application would simply be declined.

    I wonder if the auto trader price is a suggested advertising price, or an expected sale price. Maybe they are factoring in the fact everyone wants something off when buying a car

    Hi,
    If your car is worth less than £1000 on parkers guide (using your opinion of whether the car is in 'poor' or 'good' condition) then you pass the DRO criteria as regards a vehicle.
