does anyone know if child benefit and/or child tax credits are classed as an income for DRO purposes. cheers.
Yes all income counts. You can spend it all on your children though. Clothing, education, food all cost money. There's no need to stop them doing any reasonable activities such as swimming, rugby, football or anything else they do.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

This isnt strictly true, it cannot be simply set aside for all those activities. DRO intermediaries still have to follow budget guidelines and ensure that the budget is accurate and true. It is important that you are honest about what you spend the money on each month, and if you are cutting back to try and pay your creditors discuss this with your intermediary who may spot areas you need to budget more for.
Education costs (in the sense of paying for schooling etc) are not an allowable expense on a DRO.0
