Hi guys.
Been looking for a B/T card recently as I'm being hit hard with two high APR cards and it's costing me dearly.
Anyway, I tried for an MBNA card with 32 months 0% with a requested limit of 4k but was instead offered the same card with only 14 months interest free period instead.
Now I would love to go through with the application but I'm unsure if A) I would be accepted anyway.
Would be offered the limit I requested. C) Don't want a refusal on my files...
I dont know what to do for the best but the two high APR cards are costing me a small fortune.
Any suggestions guys.

if offered you less months they will acceptDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

It's still worth doing even if you get a smaller than required limit. You'll benefit by transferring some of the higher apr cards off and saving interest.0

Very true jo-bo. I was toying with the idea of waiting until the new year (because I will have paid a bit more of my debt off by then) then maybe I will be offered a better deal?
Am I living in dream world here? LOL0 -
Declined credit card applications do not appear on your credit file. It will only show that a search has been done0

Thanks joroshe.
I'm going to bide my time. Not wanting to rush straight into it. Just paid off one of my high interest cards and waiting for that to be updated on clearscore to see if my offers become more reasonable.
Fingers crossed..0 -
Might be worth noting that clearscore use equifax and MBNA usually search experian.
Good chance you will get your limit if you request BT on application.
