Sliced cheeses

Have you tried the Aldi and Lidl? I'm pretty certain they do prepacked sliced cheese (cheddar, edam, gouda etc) and my local small tesco does sliced cheese too.* They are maybe a few mm thick and I use them for my OH's sandwiches/cheese on toast.
*and no, I am not talking about those horrible "cheese" slices that you put on burgers either
ETA - like this?

I don't like bought grated cheese, as it has an odd texture (eaten uncooked) because of the potato starch used to prevent clumping.
I've treated myself to an electric grater/mincer so cheese can be bought in a cheap block, grated and stored bagged for fridge or freezer and I know how much fat goes into the mince.
Expensive ? Not really, as I saved up Amazon vouchers earned from surveys, then bought a 'used' machine, which was actually unused but the packaging was damaged.0 -
I just use the potato peeler.0
