As it comes from China, it will most likely look like the one in the photo. Whether you will get it before Christmas and if you did if it would last to New Year is another story. I know everything is made in China but not everything made in China is made to a high standard or even a decent standard.

I'm not fast for it to come before Christmas, as it is for myself to replace my old one with a burst zip (zip replacement was going to cost me as much as the first jacket) but like you say, I would rather it lasted me a season or two.

The second listing is coming from Slough, but judging by the pictures Is made in China also. There is already a discrepancy in the listing - title says down filled but the description says cotton fibre filled. Considering the price, it makes me think that latter one would be more acurate

Dont forget their sizing can be rather small, looking at an item for my sister and their XXXL was something like a size UK10.

Very true! not sure my ego would cope with wearing XXXXL (i guess that would be size 12 equivalent?)
