I used a credit union some years ago and unfortunately due to massive debt had to include it in my DRO, I had to use everything but I can't complain because it got rid of a ton of worry and anxiety and possibly even prevented me from being made homeless. Anyway my DRO ended around August time of this year 2015. Just got a letter through the door this morning and found that the Credit Union and that debt which was on the DRO has now been requested to be taken out of my ESA. Its saturday so I have to wait until Monday to phone them up. Ill be phoning up the insolvency services and the DWP but am unsure of my rights and hence why I've added to this forum. It seems the DWP seem to want to recover everything from me all the time, Water which I couldn't really debate but now this, old DRO debts

Hi,
If the credit union was included in your DRO then no deductions can take place.
Contact both the credit union and the DWP as soon as you can.
If you still have problems please post back on here.
