I am thinking of getting a graduate loan when i finish this june. I currently have a credit card and an overdraft which i want to pay off straight away.

Anyone recommend a grad loan?

hi, I have a graduate loan with Barclays - the interest on graduate loans is good but not that good.
There are better solutions - is you overdraft not interest free? And can oyu not transfer either onto 0% interest credit cards?
I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!

Hi, Thats what I used mine for too!
But you should definately stick with your interest free overdraft (if it is interest free) as it will not be reduced for another year at least. Get 0% credit cards instead if you can and take out the minimum possible loan you can afford. you dont want to be spending your first year out of uni paying back your moving costs!
nb. most grad loans require you to have an employment contract of a minimum of 6 months.
