Wages paid to wrong account?

If your 2 colleagues who started at the same time as you have also had a problem being pad, I would seriously wonder if this isn't just a line they are spinning you. Please go to HR and ask for your payslip, I'm concerned they haven't given you one. Be nice but firm in asking for them to send your payment immediately to your correct bank account by same day payment (remind them it's nearly Christmas and you need to buy presents etc!). I work in a Finance department and this is what we would do if we had made a mistake resulting in an employee not being paid. The chasing up of the payment to a wrong account would be treated as a separate thing.
I would also agree that I don't think that there would be 2 identical account numbers with different sort codes at the same bank (just my thoughts)0 -
Also, if the account didn't exist, or was closed, is would be returned to your company automatically by BACS. They should have noticed this on their BACS reports and it would have normally been back with them 3 days later.0

Exactly this. Either the employer is dodgy, or else someone in payroll is deliberately misdirecting funds.
If HR are not bending over backwards to rectify this then I would personally walk away from the company."When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0
