My PC keeps on crashing with the following message clock_watchdog_timeout. It gets to 100% but NEVER restarts - just sits there frozen in blue! What can I do to sort this please?

This is normally caused by trying to overclock the processor - ie making it run faster (and hotter) than it's meant to.
Easiest way to fix this is as follows:
Unplug the power and take the side off the computer. Somewhere on the main board will be a little battery, marked CR2032, held in with a clip on the one side. Take this battery out, leave it for twenty minutes or so.
Put the battery back in, plug the computer in and fire it up. Computer will probably complain about date and time. You can usually ignore this and set it in Windows later.0 -
machine, operating system, frequency, processor, graphics card, antivirus, when did it start, what updates were installed beforehand? where did all those infections originate
rollback (system restore) whatever crap software was installed just before it started, just because it mentions clock doesn't mean it's anything to do with hardware, or overclockingDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0
