Refer A Friend - Current and savings accounts

Is anyone aware of any refer/recommend a friend offers other than the Nationwide and First Direct current account ones? The latter - £50 for the recommender if their friend completes current account switch in - doesn't seem to be particularly well-publicised particularly when compared to the Nationwide one.

Not surprising, when you can easily get £100, and periodically even £125 or £150.

That's only for the switcher though as opposed to the recommender.

I'm not aware of any other banks with such offers. Several credit card providers, eg Tesco, Amex, et al, but no current account providers...certainly not in recent times anyway.

Do you think people would settle for £50 instead of for £100/£125/£150 so you can make £50?

The referrer gets the £50 - the person switching still gets the £100 / £125 / £150. (whatever the direct offer from First Direct is at the time)

No. As per my post above it is only the recommender who gets the £50, the switcher incentive for carrying out the switch is unaffected.
