PC world delivered Item lost in store

I purchased an Item from PC world online last saturday to collect in store when the Item arrives but the customer must wait for an email before they collect in store anyway I have not recieved an email and I went in the store this morning on the off chance my Item has been delivered which they say has not been delivered so when I got home I rang PC world customer service and they say the Item was delivered to the store last Tuesday so I assume the store has lost my item and they say they cannot give me the Item from there own stock in store because its a separate thing, what can I do

Get a refund and buy the item in store?
Is there something we're missing here because it all seems too simple. Have they refused you a refund, have you asked?0 -
They have probably got it in there store some where but cannot find it, no I have not asked for a refund and now the Item in store price is back to £150 and I purchased it for £100 online last week and yes ive checked spam folder and I will visit store on sunday and tell them they have recieved it then they may look harder for it and if they cannot find it they will probably order a new one, thanks for replysLet them eat cake (Marie Antoinette 1765)0

Woody, pop back into the store.
Tell them you've chased with customer services and they've confirmed it has arrived in store. Go to the Customer Service/Knowhow department and ask them to chase if they don't believe you (which they can either do using the DPD tracking No on their systems, or by phoning their internal web order team)
With the Black Friday sales, it's not impossible that it's been misplaced or system error with the increase.
They'll either magically find it after digging through all Pay and Collect orders, or you can request a refund/cancelation and ask them to reprocess at the original price paid.0 -
