Hi,
HP Pavilion a6421.uk Desktop PC/ I. E.
My back up schedule is set to once a week, but ALWAYS comes on at start up (can't see it 'working' at the bpttom of screen, but 'something IS whirring away), then finishes, or I have to cancel.
Why is this ? Why not the once a week it is set for ? How to cancel please, as it slows down start up and is annoying.

Did you set it to back up at a time when the machine is on?
If the machine is off when the backup is due it will stat as soon as the machine is next turned on.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
