    i tend to agree.. the backing of 'The Savers' is real with this government though.

    I will reserve judgement on that for a while.
    The 65+ was a vote catcher, which I took advantage of, but, I haven't noticed much from them , regarding anything else, as a saver.:)
    they didn't reverse Browns 10p raid on pensions, etc.
    They did increase Isa allowance, but, rates are so low, no one wants them, except hardened savers like myself,with a long term view,and the brass,to play the long game, hoping rates will rise in time.:cool:
    not for a long time yet.
    I have not fully funded this years allowance, the first since they came out.
    Old George is a bit of a con artist, with his eye on the hot seat.:)
