Does anyone have any experience of having a phone line connected/installed at a static caravan?

My parents had one installe by BT without any problems..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
If it has water, electricity & drainage connected or/and is within 50 meters of an current telephone service then there should be no problem.0

Thanks for the quick answer!
I`m asking on behalf of my Mum. She`s having huge probs getting Sky installed, they won`t drill into the caravan walls etc... so I wondered if BT would turn up and then say the same thing.
They have said the connection charge will be £130, which is a bit steep. The reason she`s living in a caravan is because she`s skint!0 -
She has everything connected, not sure about nearest phone line though.
They`ve said she has to have a credit check done too, if she fails that could I have the phone line installed in my name or added to my account?0 -

I have seen Sky installed at static caravan/ mobile home sites, the dish was placed outside on metal pole concreted into ground.
The £ 125 connection can be paid in four instalments plus a small admin fee.
Steep i dont think so. Who do you think should pay for the work in exchange and the cabling to the site then.:D0 -

Under very rare circumstances do bt not provide service after a credit check is performed. If there is a problem with the credit check then she may have to pay a deposit.0
