just got their sim card , they advise going to there "tweeker" page however the website is not working
http://lifemobile.tweakker.com/
there is an app on playstore , but it just says "no life mobile sim installed" , seems that this is a common problem with that app.
web search only throws up one link (geeksquad) however those settings don,t seem to work
anyone using life mobile (ee) and have the android settings?

This page appears to give the internet /apn setting for Life Mobile.
Is this what you need?
Sorry, forget that, you have already checked it.0 -
well , after some time "life mobile" sent me out the correct settings , and asked me how I got the "tweaker" link , I replied that it was in the conformation email they sent , and what about the app in playstore?
"Hi XXXXXX,Thanks for your response; Jack is currently unavailable so I'll be responding on his behalf.I'm very sorry that the tweakker link was sent you as this is no longer in use. I've raised this with our Operations Team to have it removed from the e-mails new customers receive. In regards to the LIFE Mobile app, the one you have found is not the real LIFE Mobile app and this is why it will not work. Our app is still currently being worked on but will be available to all our customers in the very near future.I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. If you have any further questions then let me know. Thanks again. Enjoy your day. :-)Save a Rachael

9. Tap the Menu button.
10. Tap Save.
11. Enable the newly-added APN by ensuring the line is ticked, or the radio button is lit by tapping on it.
12. Check the notification bar for H, 3G, E or G with up and down arrows beside it, which will indicate your connection is working.
Tweakker should now not be available as we don't use that service any more. Can you confirm where you were notified to use Tweakker. If it was on the documentation sent to you when you took the contract out, would you be able to forward a copy of the document to me so I'm able to make sure this isn't sent out in future.
Thanks,
reference to the "tweaker" is on the sim card package and the contact letter , they are now removing itSave a Rachael

Hi Pappa Golf,
Thanks for the APN settings.
I have a follow on question that you might be able to answer related to Life Mobile and WiFi.
I'm trying to set up a WiFi Hotspot and it works with an Android 4.1.2 phone but not with a 5.1 phone.
When I say it doesn't work the phone connect to the internet and the PC connects to the Hotspot but when I go to a web page using the PC I get a “Server not found” error message.
The weird thing is the Android 5.1 phone works with an ASDA SIM which is also on EE.
Do you have any idea how to get the Android 5.1 phone working?

sorry not tried it , HOWEVER it could be that they have locked out creating a hotspot?
edit , I have just set up a s6 that is running the marshmallow OS (android 6) in beta format , and it works
so no , they have not disabled creating a hotspot

@pappa golf
Thanks for trying that, so 4 and 6 are good I wonder if there is a problem with 5?
I've raised a support ticket with life mobile and I will report back here when I have an answer.
Anyone else out there running Android 5 WiFi hotspot on Life Mobile?
