My local closed yesterday.....re-opening as Budgens, so the promo will have to be better than this one for me to travel further afield.0

I'm yet to find an offer they've put up where I want to buy anything on the list! Either it's peas or sweetcorn (I don't like either- I do however like just about every other vegetable (apart from carrots), but this is supermarkets all over- I still am confused as to why all supermarkets have up to 3/4 of the frozen veg space for peas alone with everything else taking up half a shelf or at best a narrow slot within a waist level freezer).
If they could just do something where they miss out junk food just for once! It wouldn't even need to be that complicated; eg frozen chicken breasts or fish fillets, a jar of sauce, two types of green veg (broccoli, green beans, even cauliflower would be nice or frozen grilled veg), frozen sweet potatoes or butternut squash and frozen fruit or even go all out there and allow for a FRESH melon or a few mangos. It's not the most interesting of meals but at least it's healthier, far more flexible and appeals to people over the age of 10.
And if they could just stop with the 60% reformed or "Cherry Tree" branded meats, I've never tasted anything so similar to car tyres in my life; are they having a laugh by placing bets on how many of these they actually manage to shift? Or just trying to fill shelf space to make it look like the shelves are never empty...0
