Co-op meal deals

Same here. I would never buy frozen chips/wedges, much cheaper to make my own and cooks in the same time. I also wouldn't buy mechanically reformed poultry/meat/fish so that rules out many of their options. As to ice cream, I actually prefer Aldi's Giovanni ice cream to the over rated Haagen Daas.0 -

You could also quite easily spend more than the 43p travelling to an Aldi which for many people are not around the corner whereas a co op is much for likely to be. I also get a dividend so nothing wrong with the co op deal as far as I am concerned.
I agree with this as my "local" Aldi is around 15 miles away. I only posted the prices to illustrate how the Coop is trying to get people to buy certain products by fooling them that they're saving over half the price they usually charge.
There's not a single thing from this latest offer that I would ever buy, even at the "reduced" price.0 -

You can't guarantee anything with regards to taste, it is personal preference.
You may also want to acquaint yourself with basic arithmetic. The difference in size is not a mouthful smaller, unless you have a particularly big mouth.0 -
This is a Co-op meal deals thread, not sure why it's constantly re-visited by those who don't eat their products or prefer to buy at Aldi? I rarely use Co-op but these deals tend to be quite good value for money. Aldi is too far for me and perhaps for some others checking out a Co-op deals thread. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Because these deals from the co-op are normally very poor value , and the stated saving are ridiculously high0 -

But the £5 offer for known branded foods is a good deal and done to entice customers in and hopefully buy some things too.0 -
They're also running another £5 meal offer too. A steak/chicken pie, mash, veg and trifle. Even worse value for money!0

As an aside - The participating stores list must be in the least helpful order possible. Whoever decided to do it like that must have a warped sense of humour - or no sense whatsoever of customer service.0
