We simply wrote a letter, including receipts to show we had been shopping there the whole time. The first sale was 9 minutes after we arrived, the last 3 minutes before we left. The centre's website says in writing that if shoppers have receipts and end up parking there accidentally for more than the time limit, they will cancel the charge.0

Ah, the secret contract clause. I bet that option wasn't listed on the signs, nor in the G24 NtK. The centre seems to have a bit of a rein on G24 excesses.
I suspect there are loads of genuine shoppers, who didn't undertake the research you did, have ended up paying G24. I bet many never return to the centre again.
G24 swell their coffers at the ultimate expense of the retailers who eventually just lose business. Business success and PPC success are most certainly mutually exclusive. The mad, mad world of private parking.

No, it's not on the signs in the car park and it's not on their NtK either. My wife says she'd have simply paid had I not done some research, most of which came from this website and this forum. What a disgusting way to treat customers.0
