Problem openng 2nd Bank of Scotland vantage account

Tried to open second Vantage BOS account. Firstly appeared to have to fill in exactly same, long application form although logged into online banking. Completed form and submitted application but only offered basic cash account not vantage currrent account. Has anyone else had this problem??? First account was applied for about 10 days ago. Any thoughts greatly received. TIA

Try Bank A/c 's;
When I opened mine, i opened basic Ac's then just upgraded online, when Ac was open.They are not the easiest to open.
I regret closing my 3.

I recently had this, i phoned up to ask if they could tell me what was wrong. The approvals team couldn't figure out why i had been declined another Classic with Vantage and only offered a cash account instead. They set an account up over the phone and manually overrode the system. I now need to wait a while for it to become active and then set up the 3rd, but it might be worth a shot.
