re-amex connect?

Hi Guys, Amex plat sent me a e-mail for Shop small, and I saved to card as per normal.
MBNA havealso sent one today, BUT, different than the old way, it's CONNECT.???
Never heard of it.
to Sign up, it requires your 16 digit number, then save to card.
Unsure about just putting that info to sign up;;
Usually, sign in , then save to card.
Anyone else come across it??
I looks Kosher;
before, we could save to several cards, has anyone registered more than one plat this time.? OH has one, and a MBNA one too.= 4, in total

Amex Connect is for bank issued Amex cards. It's a similar program but the signing in is different to Amex issued cards. After signing up, you will then be able to save the offers to that particular card.

Basically, MBNA Amex cards are issued by MBNA, not Amex directly. Barclays, Lloyds and a number of other banks have Amex cards in this way. So registering for the Amex offers is done through Amex connect.

When inputing your card number on the connect site (better still, I would register on the site), just be sure you are seeing the padlock symbol in your browser and that the site is coming up as 'signed' or verified by one of the big verification corporations. That way, you will know your details are secured/encrypted.

Thanks Guys, I've just registered my MBNA -Amex, for shopsmall with Connect,( new to me that one ), looked for secure lock,:beer:and My Amex plat.was auto registered by Amex
I've 2 plats, one mine, other, wifes, different numbers.;
In the past, I was allowed to register both, but cannot see anywhere to register wifes?
Are you only allowed one now, I'm the main cardholder, wifes second?
Wife jumped the gun, post office today for stamps, but, starts 5th:rotfl:Amex Plat, it's not on Mbna site?? unless I'm missing it.
E-mail came, but doubt the £5 will.:)
Are the shops the same with Amex and Mbna-amex on shopsmall?

I believe the shops are the same on both. It does says on the connect site that the offer starts on 5th and lasts til 20th. However, I don't think the Post Office is classified as a small shop so won't be included.


Pls let me know if I'm wrong...

Probably seperate to ShopSmall.
It's/was in" MY Offers" in AMEX site, and Superdrug
.I saved both to my Plat, hence the E-mail from them for PO today .
I had PO in June as well.
Just had new glasses as well.:-) 5th.
There's always Manana.

Yes - Saved Shopsmall through Amex online banking and additional cad via http://www.cardmemberoffers.co.uk - All worked and email received confirmation.

Yes, managed to do the same on cardmemberoffers.co.uk after earlier having problem when registering the offer on the Connect site. All is well now!!

Usually they do it via login site;
got my 3 now

The PO has not put the £5 back on the card, it,s not part of Shopsmall, so maybe they will later, or a phone call will be needed
Normally, the £5 is credited at same time as debit!
has anyone saved the PO to two Plats
If so, how,s it done
