That's a thought, how do I get a copy of the summary?? I know I will get the judgement in the post (and subsequently post it on here
If you mean the transcript of the entire court session, you don't get it unless you pay for it. As I understand it, it doesn't come cheap, not sure whether the length of the court discussions impact the amount you have to pay.
Maybe someone has a handle on actual costs and will comment. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Transcript costs are based on the number of words, and generally work out at around £200 per hour of the hearing. So can be quite expensive if you want the whole thing.
If you just want the Approved Judgment, which is the bit where the Judge has heard all the arguments and starts to make his ruling, that's usually around 15 minutes or less, so about £50 or less.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Hi guys
I have received the judgement in the post now and just realised that UKPC should have paid my expenses by 4pm on 22nd February... They haven't
Any ideas on how to go about getting this?0 -
Letter before claim to UKPC along with some creative accounting add ons, say £50 for (cough, cough) legal fees!0
-
No need to be creative. You have Judgment. You are entitled to interest at 8% per annum on the unpaid amount. Divide your judgment sum by 365 and that is the amount it is costing them per day.... If they refuse to pay the interest, you can take it back to Court to enforce the payment.0
-
so £111 x 8% = £8.88 /365 = an extra £0.02 per day is now being incurred
Do ask for the cash, because it'll cost them to generate another cheque and letter0 -

You take the judgment order back to the Court, and apply for a Warrant of Control. The fee is £110, which is added to UKPC's bill.
The Court will then instruct bailiffs local to UKPC's office to visit, and either collect payment or remove goods to the value.

bargepole makes a fair point on enforcement, but I would ask for payment (and interest) first. You are absolutely entitled to enforce the outstanding judgment, however, as he notes (and claim the costs of doing so).0
