I've finally managed to replace a very uncomfortable Argos futon sofa bed. The cushions kept sliding about. People who slept on it said it was ok but it was rubbish as a sofa. So I don't recommend one of those.

Homebase have discount codes showing on their website, depending on your spend amount

Argos had 20% code too, but I cant see the link anymore

But Ikea is where I'd look

Sofabeds often do neither job well. How about a sofa with removable foam cushions that could be laid on the floor for emergencies? At least it might work OK as a sofa that way :)

I used to have futon sofa bed. It was comfy for sleeping (as my guest said) but horrible as sofa (everyone complained).

In the end up this sofa bed was purchased when it was on sale for £319.99 but delivery cost £8.95. A code which gave £48.00 off was used which meant the total amount paid for the sofa bed was £280.94. :money:

Thank you for all the responses!

When the order was placed Argos stated delivery would be by the 29th December but they would get in contact within 48 hours to arrange delivery. The order was placed in the early hours of the 10th December and they haven't got in contact yet.
