Headboard damaged - can I claim

My headboard is made from linen. If I spilt anything on it I'd just accept it was ruined0

If you mean against the retailer that sold it then I agree there is no case.
If you mean as a claim on an insurance policy that covers accidental damage I don't necessarily agree. It will depend on what the policy covers. (I don't have accidental damage cover so I don't know, but I would have thought that such an accident may well be covered.)0 -
Your best bet would be either buying a new headboard or get that one reupholstered professionally.0
