When I try to use the credit card eligabilty checker I get the message
Unfortunately, we have not been able to find your details at the Credit Bureau. Please check and try again.
I have checked all my details and they are all correct. How or where do I go to have this checked out?

I have a possible answer to my problem. I live in a first floor flat at, shall we say, 9 Any Street. My electoral register says my address is 9 Any Street 1L (1st floor left) whereas my postcode has me at 9A Any Street. My next door neighbour has ER has 9 Any Street 1R and post code of 9B Any Street. Is this liable to be my problem and if so, to whom do I go to get it fixed?Something Really Interesting0

Could well be your problem, and not a whole lot you can do to get it fixed, other than move to a normal property
I don't suppose you are going to get the Council to change the address on the electoral role, so perhaps you need to change the address on all your bank accounts etc, and when you quote your address to people, quote it in the council format.
It means you'll have to enter addresses manually in many forms rather than relying on a postcode lookup.0 -

If the address on your credit report is correct, especially the postcode, Try using exactly how the address is on the report on the eligibility calculator.
I lived at an address before where I had to manually enter the details as it just didn't come up right from the postcode search. I was rejected a couple of times but I think it might have to do with limited history more than anything. With everything else on the report favourable, it wouldn't hurt to appeal if rejected to highlight the potential confusion on the address that might have lead to the rejection.

My understanding is that Noddle is the free version of Callcredit and that Clearscore is the free version of Equifax. The other main credit reference agency, Experian, is the one that the MSE credit card and loan checker uses. So your problem probably lies with Experian. I have a lot of problems with Experian and the formatting of my address as I live in a flat too. I have had no such problems with Equifax or Callcredit. If you are planning to apply for credit you really should check with all 3 agencies so i would advise either subscribing to Experian or paying £2 for the statutory version. I got both and it highlighted the address issues as nothing showed up on the statutory report presumably because of the way i input my addess. If you search my posts i have one giving the details and it also includes an email address to contact them. I need to email again as they solved 2 out of 3 of my problems but then i made the mistake of phoning them about the 3rd and they just messed it up more - arghhhh !!!0
