stiebel eltron CNR Thermal Wave Radiant Panel Heater

We're looking for cheap but reasonably effective convection/radiant wall mounted panel heaters for a small flat that's poorly insulated.

Does anyone have experience of this 'Stiebel Eltron CNR' heater on the Toolstation website? The only info I can find is marketing stuff from the manufacturer but no independent reviews.

Looks like a nice heater but with having a higher radiant output you really want the space in front of the heater to be unobstructed.

No significant difference in running costs from a £20 convector heater from Argos though.

Sorry but 'cheap' 'panel heaters' and 'poorly insulated' is simply impossible.

All direct electric heaters are 100% efficient, no more, no less. Doesn't matter if you pay £1000, £100, or £10 for it, they all cost the same to run.

Don't need to see it, it'll perform no better or worse than every other electric heater (of the same spec) on the market.

At least they are not rip-off prices as charged by so many firms for their 'magic' heaters. However as said above it will produce EXACTLY the same heat output, for the same running cost, as any other electrical heater

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like budget is the way to go, would love to insulate our flat but our building management are impossible to deal with.

Can you move? That would be my advice.

Fitting E7 Night Storage will reduce your bills, but has a fairly large outlay. If you could fit even one storage heater in your main living space it would be a good start.
