Private Hire Lease just got x2 tickets

Lease company have told me they replied to both parking ticket companies to confirm my name and address as registered keeper of vehicle. They did this over a month ago for one ticket and 2 weeks ago for the other ticket. I have still not had any letters from either parking company.
The tickets are NOT council tickets. These are private companies. Do i wait for a letter from them, or do i have to contact them directly to say i have not had any NTK or other letters about the fine sent to my home address where the car is registered to (via lease company)?0 -
I would wait for a letter from them.
And note you were KEEPER, not REGISTERED KEEPER (that remains the Lease Company). You can admit to being the KEEPER to the PPCs, but don't tell them who was driving. Come back here if/when you get any letters from them.
What does it say in the lease agreement about parking tickets and admin charges? It may well describe them as fines/penalties from relevant authorities, which means these tickets don't count and they shouldn't have charged you anything, but let us know - it depends on the wording.Je Suis Cecil.0 -

Are you sure the lease company used those precise words? If they did, did they do it in writing, and did they tell you in writing?
Or, did they tell the PPCs that you are the lessee, or the driver? It may seem pedantic but it is very important that we know precisely who said what and to whom.
There are three issues here.
One is whether the lease company had the right to bill you for giving your details to the parking scammers, hence the need to know the precise wording of your lease.
The other two are that you are likely to get two parking charge notices, one from each parking company. If you do, I suggest you start a thread for each ticket as the advice may be different in each case, and the advice will be different again for the lease company charge given on this thread.
Normally posters with lease/hire vehicles are advised to appeal to the PPC as soon as they get a windscreen ticket. In your case the PPCs already have your details which is why we need to know exactly what the lease company told them. I would suggest waiting for the PPCs to contact you rather than the other way round, but some of the more experienced posters on here might have a better idea.I married my cousin. Attached are the letters from the two parking companies sent to my lease hire company + the information/response the lease company sent back to the parking company.
As i mentioned have not been sent any letters in the post from anyone (lease company or parking company).
I have never admitted being the driver of the vehicle at the time of these offences. There is more than one person legally allowed to drive the car.
1. The first ticket was issued on 30 Sept 2015 from New Generation Parking Management for "Parking in no waiting area" (double yellow lines). The driver stopped to drop off someone, and waited 2 mins while they ran to collect something from a shop. No windscreen notice issues. No NTK sent to home address ever.
2. The second ticket was issued in the 8th November 2015 for "Driver seen leaving site" at a shopping retail park (not seen evidence to show a driver did leave) from UKCPS Ltd. We spotted a windscreen notice for the ticket. No NTK received at home ever.
Im not so worried about the admins from lease company, but it is annoying.
Can you take a look at these letters from Parking Companies to lease company and their response to them to help me understand what i do next + what happens if i do nothing at this stage.0 -
Images did not show above. Here they are all in order as written above...0

The lease firm have dealt with the first one correctly by naming you as the lessee (but not the driver) in accordance with BVRLA guidelines. Whether they can charge you for doing this will depend on the wording of your lease/contract.
I notice that New Generation Parking Management have added on a 2.50 processing charge for cheque/postal order payments. I'm not sure but this may be illegal. It certainly would take the total charge over the 100 pounds mark which is in breach of the BPA code of practice.
The lease company have c0cked up the second ticket by naming you as driver not the lessee. Since you say there are more than one people permitted to drive the car, I would suggest a complaint to the lease company is in order with a request to re-imburse you for both charges as a gesture of goodwill.
Apart from that, my only suggestion is to wait and see what comes in the post from each of the two parking companies. If/when that happens, start a new thread for each but mention/link this thread as well.I married my cousin. So, will the PPC send me something now, since they have my details from the car lease company?
I agree with ManxRed and Fruitcake. Wait.
But NOW - edit your post above that talked about the driver. This thread must not suggest who was driving and one of your posts just did (I'm not quoting it).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would report the NGPM NTO to the BPA.
It states:
Read this notice and act upon it immediately. Failure to do so will result in civil court proceedings and a CCJ.0 -
It would indeed be an interesting court case where the keeper is pursued because the driver's passengers left the site. What would Judge McIlwaine make of that one, I wonder! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Is there anything on the car to identify it as a lease car.
Parking firms have been known to take the proverbial and hit it anyway knowing certain lease firms just pay up.I do Contracts, all day every day.0
