How will applying for a PGCE affect my Universal Credit claim?

I'm currently claiming the job seekers part of Universal credit, but they have signed me off sick as I was struggling with my health. I suffer from fibromyalgia, hypermobility and depression. I have attempted to claim PIP but after going to court and being turned down again, I have decided to give up with it as it isn't worth the stress. The extra money would have been very helpful, but the damage the stress has done to my health wasn't worth it.
As I am signed off sick, I still get my universal credit. However, as I am starting to feel better and up to job searching, I want to apply for my PGCE. I have been unemployed for over 18 months since I graduated from university and I'm desperate to work, not for the money but because being at home all the time is severely affecting my depression. I know I can't claim universal credit whilst I am in education. I'm just wondering if it will affect my claim now if I apply for my PGCE. To apply for my PGCE, I need to do at least 10 days in a school before hand and I worry that it is this that will affect my claim.

The first question to ask yourself is are you actually fit enough to work 10 days in a school environment? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Also, if easily stressed, teaching is probably not the career for you.
The situation in schools, nowadays ,is much worse than it was (my very strong sister retiring early, through stress), but even years ago, when there was less pressure, pupils would really torment anyone they found vulnerable (unsure/nervous).0
