Received a letter from miah solicitors stating an outstanding parking charge in june 2015. I have received a few letter since then but have ignored them as was told to by friends but this letter states "the supreme
Court ruled on 4th november 2015 that charges for parking on private land are enforceable and we believe our clients charge is proportionate"
They then go on to say "our client has informed us that the parking charge was not paid on the due date. Therefore on or around the time of parking the parking charge notice and the signs erected upon the land in question both specified that a charge of £100 would be payable. In addition to this sum our client has incured a £25 administration fee which under the terms of the contract are payable by you. In addition to the above charges, legal costs in the sum of £150 have been incured, these fees are also payable by you under the contract entered into when parking at the above location"
It then states "this letter before action is being sent to you in accordance with the practice direction on pre-action conduct contained in the civil procedure rules. In particular we refer to paragraph 4 of the said practice direction concerning the courts powers to impose sanctions for failong to comply with its provisions."
And then it says "take note, that if we do not receive contact from you within 14 days of the date of this letter, we will take our clients instructions regarding how they wish to proceed which may include considering issuing legal proceedings. Payment can be made by cheque, made payable to the miah solicitors, please include the reference number so we are able to locate payments etc"
I dont know what to do can anyone help?? This is alot of money to me do i have any options???

nobody can help you on here, no
but we can ADVISE you on what to do, which is to do as much research on here and on pepipoo forums as possible
the best way to do this is put the search word MIAH into the forum search box and read every thread in the last few months about them, especially the ones with posts on pepipoo by GAN where he has queries you can use, possibly examples of letters too
both forums have dozens of MIAH and UKCPS threads dated this year (ignore older threads) , so just read them, there is nothing more to say that hasnt already been said about them
 so help ? - no , advice ? - yes0
