Can I make a claim from Lloyds from 1991?

I know nothing about this whole PPI thing having thought that I've never had it.

However it's suddenly occurred to me that I took a loan out from Lloyds bank in 1991 to buy a motorbike and I'm pretty sure there was redundancy insurance included.

I've had a quick look on Lloyds website and the claim form is very long and I don't have any documentation (it was 24 years ago! but to me it seems like yesterday :)). Is it worth me having a go at this?

Comments

  • Possibly but if neither you nor the bank have any surviving documentation it is unlikely to go anywhere.

If you have no records your only chice is to send a SAR and £10 in the hopes they have.
It's a choice you have to make and they still might not have any records....
