Super balance transfers

I have been accepted for an MBNA credit card (0% interest for 13 months) and can do a super balance transfer into my current account, to pay off my flexi-account (2k); which is being charged at the rate of 15.9%. What would be the advantage of transferring the money to an 'egg money card' first, and then transferring it to my current account?
I will be applying for an egg money card anyway, just so I can make some money on my purchaces, but do egg see these balance transfers as purchaces?
