I returned a pair of jeans to GAP using their returns label via Royal Mail, its been almost 3 weeks and they haven't received item, 3 weeks is their cut off date, where do i stand as seems jeans are likely lost?
I returned item as per GAP instructions, i have proof of postage.
Do i have any rights?
Thanks

You used GAP's label, but did you pay for the postage or did GAP?smithers1981 wrote: »I returned a pair of jeans to GAP using their returns label via Royal Mail, its been almost 3 weeks and they haven't received item, 3 weeks is their cut off date, where do i stand as seems jeans are likely lost?

Speak to GAP.
I expect they will make good the loss on production of the proof of posting, provided you followed their returns instructions and they did not explicitly say you should get insurance if you wanted to cover the risk of loss.0 -
As you have proof of having posted the returns package, you are legally entitled to a refund under the distance selling & cancellation section of the Consumer contract regulations. (These are the regs that took over from the distance selling regulations).
Provided you have proof of postage, the retailer is legally required to refund you within 14 days of you stating that you want to return the goods and providing them with the POP even if they haven't received those goods back.0
