Kudox / Purmo radiators & which valves?

Plumber was supposed to come out & change a few rads before major work being carried out. He did, but only changed a few.
Rads he picked up are "Purmo" rads.
As he's not gotten back in touch after contacting him i was going to buy in the other rads & have them connected up.
I think he'll have got them from a local plumbers merchants. Only thing is, i went where google maps said it was today & can't find it at all. I contacted them this evening when i finally got some internet back & was able to get their details so i'll see if they reply.
However Kudox ones from Screwfix look pretty much the same.
Question - is either better than the other or is there very little in it? The Purmo ones are about £20 dearer for the same thing.
Also i was thinking to also change the valves, so which should i be looking at? I'd change the valve on each end of the rad so would need whatever the left side is called (lockshield is it?) and the TRV side. I believe buying cheapest isn't best but i don't want to shell out megamoney (depending). There'd be maximum 3 radiators to change with the biggest being 1000mm width. I've read Drayton is supposed to be ok? But there's so much to choose from.
