Lloyds not waived £5 monthly fee

My Club Lloyds account has been charged the £5 monthly fee today as usual but the waived £5 monthly fee has not been applied. I have paid in the £1500 this month and had 2 separate DD`s in the month as usual. Has this happened to anyone else?

Same here, two sole and one joint account.

£1,500 deposits and two direct debits as per the terms and conditions.

Out of every bank I've had dealings with, it always seems to be Lloyds that let themselves down.

If the waiver doesn't show up tomorrow, I'll be having a quiet word or two with customer services.

    The walls have ears!

The waivers have just turned up in my accounts at the same time I made the last post.

Thanks - I am glad you replied so quickly - I thought I had fallen foul of the hoops and hurdles to enable a waiver. Hopefully they shall rectify the mistake quickly.

Same here! I logged on an hour ago to skim the interest. The £5 has just come in . Ah well - another £5 to skim - "all`s well that ends well"

they've taken the £5 fee despite a deposit of £1500 and x2 separate dd. Will this be given back? how does it appear when it is returned?

oh its returned, just checked mine, comes up as WAIVED

They take the fee every month regardless.

They pay an equivalent amount back if you meet specified criteria in the previous month. This waiver appears as a separate transaction. Either may occur at any time during the day.

    Appears like this

02 Dec 15 CLUB LLOYDS WAIVED DEP 5.00
02 Dec 15 CLUB LLOYDS FEE PAY 5.00
  • We have this topic every single month.

The fee shows on your statement at about 7pm on the 2nd working day of the month. If you've met the waiver criteria (pay in £1500 in the calendar month), the fee is waived about an hour later.

It's odd that they take the £5 fee off and then credit it back. Not sure why they do it like that.

It would be better if they just don't take the fee when £1500 is deposited each month.
