Please help New to this PPI Capital one

Hi all please can anyone give me any advise as im really unsure what to do annd would really appreciate, So i decided to look at my PPI with capital one, I have got it on a credit card from 2004!! The card i do not use anynmore (although its still active ) and only has a limit of like £250!! I sent off for a copy of my agreement, its a paper copy and it has the box ticked for PPI even though i cannot remember im very doubtful i would have ticked this box and i was only 19 so id be suprised id even know that PPI was!!! Also even though it sounds silly the Tick doesnt look like any of the other ticks on th page ( im feeling suspicous ) !!

So i have the form to fill out and send back to make a claim but im not sure what to say when it asks why do u feel PPI was mis-sold, give examples ???

Would anyone have advise for me or had a similar situation with Capial one??
THANK U

If you didnt know what it was then how can you say you were doubtful? However, that is largely irrelevant. If you ticked to have it then you bought it and were not sold it and you were an adult at the time of purchase.

You cannot complain that anyone mis-sold it to you as no-one else was involved. It was not an advised sale so you cant complain you didnt need it.

Most self selected complaints fail. Some do succeed but that is mainly in two areas. Tick to not have it (not applicable to you from where you say) or if they use wording that makes it appear that it is advice. e.g. we strongly recommend you have this cover.
