Hi I'm a complete newby please bear with me. Problem is I'm a first time buyer buying jointly in London with my partner who is not. My half of the mortgage will be below the £450k threshold but the total purchase price will be over this limit. Can I still get the 25% from the Government from opening a HTB ISA?

            Simple answer. No.
But you could open an account to get the benefit of 4% interest, just not the government bonus.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
