Low sound with freeview

Hi

There is a big sound difference between analogue channels and digital channels. The freevwiew digital channels through the AV channel seems quite low, I have tried setting the volume level on the AV channel to max but it doesn't make much difference. Is there any thing that can be done to improve this, as switching between analogue & digital channels required big volume adjustment each time.

Are you using a freeview box? (if so, which model is it) or are you using an Intergrated Digital TV?

if you go into the menu and setup a lot of the boxes have an icon for the sound if you fill that in using your remote keys and save it that should solve your problem

When you say 'the [level] through the AV channel seems quite low', are you using the aerial feed to connect to the TV? If so, have you tried a scart cable or is your telly too old? I have the opposite effect - my freeview box (through scart) is higher volume, easy to correct as I leave the f/v volume down a couple of notches.
