Selling Uninsured Car

No point taxing it - as soon as the buyer sends off the V5c, the tax would be cancelled and they'd have to pay for new tax - only takes about a week these days - and if it's not insured, you can't drive it anyway. Trader could cover it on their trade policy for moving or use a transporter.
That car would be worth in the region £7-£8k, maybe a little less trade in value (depending on condition) - your best bet would be a local second hand car dealer where they'd look to be selling it, not a main dealer . If you know any you can trust (lol) or ask friends for recommendations.

Thanks you sir. I just spoke to the garage I bought it from. They said they would pick up and put on their forecourt which would be covered on their insurance. Just need to work out the deal etc.

Thank you again. Good idea :)
