Problem with Delight Mobile SIM showing 'roaming'

  • Hi, original poster back again. Thank you all for the comments and my problem now seems to be cured.

Yesterday I received the new nano SIM from Delight as they promised. They have swapped my number over and I have been using the new SIM card for 24 hours without any sign of the roaming issue. Looks like the new SIM must be programmed with the codes of Orange & T-Mobile. I can now use the phone with international roaming disabled and no 'R' showing.

I also wondered why I was getting this problem with my delight sim so thanks for the explanations. In the end I just set my delight sim phone settings to always roam but in the sim toolkit, to manual and UK only and that works.

Sorry, was 5 days ago, I did not re-read your first post before posting yesterday half asleep lol. Interesting because I know the updated iphone carrier files resolved the issue not a sim swap and I had a old Delight micro sim in a Xperia and never had a issue but the old man did in a cheap Alcatel and editing the network profiles nor a sim swap worked?? Orange network showed as roaming regardless of any phone or simtoolkit options.
