in Credit cards
I got an egg card on 1st April and made a small balance transfer into my current account a few days later.
Am I allowed to make another one free of charge, or is there a time limit?
TIA

You can make as many SBT's as you like during the Egg 0% interest free period. Egg will not charge you for them if they're done during this period. Do ensure that your SBT's (of your Egg credit limit to your current account) do not exceed the credit limit you've been allocated. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
Hi All,
Just realised this piece on the Egg website:
Cash advances If you hold another Egg account when you take out an Egg Card, you won't pay our cash advance handling fee. Otherwise, you'll pay a handling fee of 2% of the withdrawal amount (minimum fee £2) which represents a yearly interest rate of 17.9% pa (variable). Still an attractive rate.
So does this mean then, so long as you have either an EggPay or EggSavings account at the time of opening, that you can still transfer cash out of your card, without fees, so long as it goes via one of your existing Egg money accounts?
It does look that way to me, but just wanted to check!
Cheers

Looks like it, but I think you'll be paying 17.9% interest from the day of the cash advance. Expensive!!0

I think you are getting confused. You can BT to a bank account using an egg card at 0% during your introductory period, although they have just introduced fees for new customers.
Only way I can see you might want to take a cash advance from egg would be via an ATM.Ethical moneysaver0
